Only twice a day, and both times for the same reason: this cove faces the right way and the light does something at each end of the day that it does not do in between. It is also empty at those hours, which matters more than it sounds.
We walk down the coast path together — fifteen minutes, easy, but wear something on your feet. Then an hour of hatha on the sand: slow, breath-led, accessible to a complete beginner and not boring for someone who has practised for years. At sunrise the sequence is built to wake the body up; at sunset it winds it down, and the last fifteen minutes are lying still while the light goes.
Mats and blankets are carried down for you. Come on your own — most people do — or bring whoever you are travelling with. Afterwards there is fruit and tea, and nobody rushes you back up the path.
