Four people maximum, which is the whole point. On a paddleboard the difference between an enjoyable morning and a frustrating one is whether somebody is actually watching you, and in a group of fifteen nobody is.
We start in flat water inside the cove — twenty minutes on your knees, then standing, and almost everyone is upright and moving within half an hour. Once the group is steady we paddle out along the coast to a stretch of low cliffs you cannot reach on foot, stop, swim off the boards, and come back. Total time on the water about ninety minutes.
Beginners are genuinely welcome; so are people who have done it before and want somewhere quieter than the main beach. You should be comfortable swimming in deep water, since we go beyond standing depth. Buoyancy aids provided and no one is talked into anything.
