The chapel on the hill above Sant Antoni is the thing everyone photographs from below and almost nobody walks up to. From the top you get the bay, the town, the whole sweep of the coast towards Cala Salada, and — because of where it sits — an unusually good view of the sunset side of the island. The climb takes about fifty minutes at an easy pace, on track and then footpath. We stop where there is shade and where there is something to look at, which turns out to be most of the way. Then lunch, and this is not a sandwich in a bag. A full traditional Ibicenco meal is included, worth about €20 on its own: sofrit pagès or bullit de peix depending on the day, with flaó to finish. We eat properly, sitting down, for an hour. You will not need dinner.

Closed shoes with some grip. Hat, sun cream and a litre of water. Tell me about any food allergy or diet when you book — the lunch is cooked for the group.
